Adopting an Olive Tree from the Olive Oil Company

Background

The Olive Oil Company was set up in 2004 by a couple with a dream of one day owning an olive farm. They found their dream in Spain - or more specifically in Extremadura bordered by Portugal to the West and Andalucia to the South. Their 10 acre farm is cared for organically.

Types of Tree

There are three varieties of olive trees cultivated on the farm: Manzanilla Cacereña, Cornicabra and Picual.

Oil

The oil is hand harvested and quickly pressed eliminating the need for any chemical intervention. The three varieties are pressed together to produce single estate virgin olive oil which is smooth, aromatic and with a lovely golden green hue.

Price

There are two packages available. Dorado £55 plus postage and packing and Verde £40 plus postage and packing. Both options include 2 x 75cl of extra virgin olive oil.
