Adopting an Olive Tree from Casa-Margherita
Background
Casa-Margaherita produces its olive oil from olive groves in
central Umbria - the heart of the Italian olive growing region. Traditional varieties are tended using age-old
methods.
Types of Tree
The varieties grown are the traditional Umbrian mix
of moraiolo and leccino varieties.
Oil
The trees grown in this part of central Umbria produce an
olive oil which is greener in colour with a richer and more piquant taste and a distinct attractive grassy note.
The olives are cold pressed and the oil unfiltered. You will receive a a guaranteed 2 litres of extra virgin olive
oil.
Price
£60 - this includes an adoption certificate, an olive oil
pourer, a handbook, a set of three (thyme, chilli and lemon) infused oils and 2 litres of extra virgin olive
oil.

available for adoption include:

into full production.
- Full Flush - in their prime - the troopers of
the grove.
- Elder Statesmen - awkward to pick but well worth
the effort.
- In addition to your olive oil you get a set of
three infused oils sent in summer.
- You can add your own message to the adoption
certificate.
- You receive and olive oil pourer to drizzle your
oil with.
- Get updates on the progress of your tree and the work
being undertaken in the grove.
